Privacy Notice – Customers Kopenhagen Fur a.m.b.a.

 

 

Purpose and legal grounds

Kopenhagen Fur a.m.b.a. (KF), cvr-nr. 15275413,  Langagervej 60, 2600 Glostrup, Denmark, telephone no. + 45 43 26 10 00, mail@kopenhagenfur.com, is data controller and processes personal data concerning the customer as well as any natural person representing the customer including a natural person who makes bids at KF’s auctions in connection with purchase of skins at KF’s auctions.

The purpose with the processing of the personal data comprises the customer’s contractual relationship in connection with the customer’s purchase of skins at KF’s auctions and the subsequent handling in connection with the delivery and transportation of the skins purchased at the auctions.

The legal grounds for the processing of the personal data with the customer are KFs performance of a contractual relationship.

 

Categories of personal data

As part of the customer administration KF processes personal data including name, contact details such as email, address, phone, mobile phone, registration-/identification number, banking information, photo for access card. The processing of this personal data will only be made to the extent necessary in order to safeguard the interest of the customer or KF in connection with the general customer administration including performance of contractual obligations between the parties.

 

Recipients of personal data

KF passes on personal data to companies within the KF group of companies which are domiciled in the EU and certain third parties. Such third parties may be forwarding agents, consultants, couriers, hotels, airlines, car rentals, public authorities, provided it is required that personal data is passed on according to legal requirements, or if it is necessary to safeguard the customer’s or KF’s interests in connection with the customer administration.

 

Right of insight

KF controls that the registered personal data is not incorrect or misleading and undertakes furthermore to update the personal data on a current basis. The customer and the natural persons representing the customer may obtain insight into and correct registered data or have registered data deleted by contacting KF at gdpr@kopenhagenfur.com

 

Deletion

KF shall delete the personal data when the collaboration expires, however, name, address, registration number, telephone number and bank account will not be deleted till one year after the collaboration between the customer and KF has terminated, and any and all claims KF may have against the customer or the natural person, who made the bid at the auction have been fulfilled. KF shall delete personal data concerning a natural person representing the customer, when it is no longer relevant for KF to process this personal data.

 

Security

KF has adopted regulation on information security, which contain instructions and measures that protect the personal data from being destroyed, missed or changed unauthorized publication and against unauthorized access or knowledge to the personal data.

In the event of breach of security which results for the customer in high risk of IT-theft, financial loss, loss of reputation or material inconvenience, KF will inform of the breach of security without further delay.

 

Data portability etc.

KF fulfills a requirement to use the right to receive the information KF processes (data portability) so that the personal data can be received by the customer in a normal format. Request to get access to data, have it corrected or deleted or objections to KF’s data processing will be responded to as soon as possible and at the latest one month after receipt of the request.
